The roots of Sunde Land Surveying.

Sunde Land Surveying, Inc was started September 1975 by Edward Sunde, PLS. Ed started with a staff of three people in a small space in Bloomington, MN. Throughout the years, he added more employees, office space and equipment to service the growing list of clients. He enlisted John Barnes, PLS as his office manager. John Barnes, PLS started at Sunde Land Surveying, Inc in May 1976 after going to Hennepin Technical College for Land Surveying/Civil Technology and serving in the United States Navy.

Ed used the field expertise of Mark Hanson, PLS as his Field Supervisor. Mark managed the field crews and equipment to keep the field crews up and running smoothly. Mark attended Normandale Community College and has taken various boundary law and land surveying classes at Dunwoody Institute. Scott Soukup, PLS started as a computer draftsman in July 1976 with Sunde Land Surveying. Scott moved up over the years to become a key component of office operations and office manager.
