Quality Assurance
The initial work order is written to make sure all employees receive the most detailed information regarding the project including the township, range, section, address, work description, contact information and legal description. This ensures that everyone is on the same page as the project is started.
The field crews verify benchmark elevations by checking into a minimum of 3 published benchmarks per site. Horizontal control is based off of County Coordinates via section corners and MNDOT monumentation. A minimum of 3 horizontal control monuments are used per site. Traverses are checked for closure upon return to the office.
The total stations are field calibrated monthly to ensure that we are upholding the utmost accuracy on the information that we collect.
Once the job is processed in the field and the draftsperson starts working on the project, the project manager will meet with each department to go over any potential problems with utilities, boundary information or any other items. After this meeting, the information that is needed to correct the problem will be obtained by either the field crews or the research specialist and the missing information will be added to the survey.
Prior to the survey being delivered the drawing will be checked by our Quality Control Specialist. All changes will be made and the delivery method and time will be confirmed with you to make sure that the survey arrives to you as soon as you need it.
Upon receipt of the survey, any comments or questions that you may have will be addressed by the project manager and if required a revised survey will be issued showing any changes.
Your satisfaction is guaranteed and we will provide you with any additional items that you may need to make the survey exactly what you need to complete your project on time and within budget.
